So unless ESPN is showing the match on their main network, fans have to buy ESPN Unlimited to watch any of the three biggest courts (John Cain, Margaret Court and Rod Laver) at the Australian Open. @espn screw you No wonder no one in America watches tennis… too damn hard to
US Tennis Center@USTennisCenter

ESPN+ wasn’t enough for ESPN? They had to add another freaking paywall in ESPN Unlimited seriously? Disney is the most corrupt company of all time…. Simply unreal the level of greed here. To watch Kecmanovic-Etcheverry you need ESPN+, for Fery-Cobolli it’s espn unlimited…

Really great to see Alex Molcan back in an ATP Quarterfinal. He’s been in the tennis wilderness for too long… great to see his game back at this level. So dominant against Diallo today

@Big3GOATRace Oh totally. My tweet was just more about his demeanor all interview. A lot of young players in this situation looked overawed by the moment but he really acted like he was supposed to be there. Cool to see

@USTennisCenter I mean good chance he already knew this. Not like he didn’t grow up there looking for role models that didn’t exist.

Not sure how many people listened to Adolfo Daniel Vallejo’s post match interview against Svajda but man oh man is he a cool customer. Barely even looked fazed after being told that he was the first Paraguayan since 2006 to win 2+ ATP matches in a season. Big future here!

Etcheverry hit just 9 winners in his 3-set win today…. Might be the lowest winner total I’ve ever seen from a winner in a three-set match

What a win for Mackie McDonald man, easily one of his best ATP results in ages (the win over the still injured Arnaldi only counts so much lol). Really brutal loss for defending champ Brooksby who’s now lost 4 of his last 5 matches and will fail to defend any of his 250 pts…

@bloodyleviath I mean I think he’d rather have an ATP win personally. More ranking points obviously available here lol

@jmgmoron @_claymagazine How are the year-end bonuses distributed? Is the reward for most ATP 500 wins included among year-end bonuses ? Really appreciate this post, lots of great info here!! Thank you!

@USTennisCenter Completely agree. Definitely a faster clay which is why Ben does well here and not as well everywhere else Also why guys like Opelka and Steve Johnson have won it lol

The Houston clay is just so so different. Almost a completely surface entirely to European/South American clay courts. Always thought it would be fascinating if Houston moved to the middle of clay court season and fans could really see the difference between the types of clay

Another big upset at the Marrakech ATP 250! 18 year old Karim Bennani (731) defeats Quentin Halys (90) 6-4, 6-7, 6-2 for his first ever ATP win. He has never even played a Challenger match. Earlier Baadi defeated Vukic. Both Moroccans were over 10 (+900) odds prematch 🤯

@masonyo25 It’s always easier for me to fully articulate the differences between Houston and European clay courts after Houston ends tbh. I get so used to watching that clay for a week that the next week is just a complete shock at first almost. The clay just looks cheaper in Houston idk

Doesn’t make any sense logistically obviously. But it’s just always so interesting for me to start watching clay in Houston and then seeing the drastic differences between non North American clay

It is finally over. Hardcourt season has been going since July 2025. NINE MONTHS. NINE months of serve slapping. NINE months of bashing. NINE months of offensive foot squeaking. It’s time for the swish of sliding. It’s time for balanced gameplay. It’s time for the CLAY.
