WCA was part of the workers delegation at the @ilo that negotiated, with government and employer representatives, guidelines on how international labour standards (e.g the rights to freedom of association, to organise and to collectively bargain), apply in sport to athletes. Athletes are frequently treated as exceptions to even the most basic rules that govern other workplaces. We see it in cricket, often.
