Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle stepped aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) and USS Mahan (DDG 72) to personally thank the Sailors for their tireless service over the course of a historic 11-month deployment.

They waited 11 months for this moment. The first hug. The first kiss. Welcome home, CTT2 Gabriel Junquera and all Sailors assigned to the Ford Carrier Strike Group who returned today after a historic and successful deployment.

Over 4,500 warriors from the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group—serving aboard the USS Ford, USS Bainbridge, and USS Mahan—have completed a 326-day historic deployment marked by extraordinary endurance and service, including the birth of 76 children during the deployment. Today, we proudly welcome our American heroes home.

Cleveland rocks! 🎸🚢 The future USS Cleveland (LCS 31) recently arrived in Cleveland, Ohio, ahead of its commissioning ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
