Not the best of all debuts tbh- 9 wicket defeat- but I did score my highest runs, I was maybe the lowest run-rate bowler, and I did take the only wicket by catching it in the slips off my ankles. Hope the team didn’t hate me leading. 😳

Weather-permitting, and 2 months later than billed, making my debut as on-the-pitch captain today. 🏏🌈

Cardiff in the sun…. It *should* be one of those double-cricket weekends for me! Finger still broken, 10 days until I can do light resistance, 3 weeks until I can do lifting, batting, training. Maybe 4 or 5 until I can legitimately pick myself in my own team!! 😅 Nearly there 🏏
