@dr_andrealove The article starts out with a really dumb statement: "pet owners who deliberately put animals in harms’ way are committing animal abuse." That includes raw food & not vaccinating. Even if those decisions are bad, pet owners don't do those things to deliberately harm their pet.

A cat died in Oregon after being fed raw cat food. Raw pet food has NO BENEFIT for pets. I don’t care what your favorite influencer claims on social media. Just like raw milk, it can be contaminated with disease-causing microbes that can cause serious illness and death. 1/

@DrNadolsky This is like saying every kid in school tries to get good grades. Pretty much all of them do. But some try harder than others. Some prioritize it more. Some are more disciplined. To pretend that discipline is not variable amongst humans is ridiculous.

It’s a myth that everyone with obesity isn’t trying hard enough. Every patient that comes to me has tried to do some diet and exercise at least 5 times in the past. Most are exercising a lot!

@tylerblack32 I agree that raw milk or beef tallow will not change the obesity/health scene, but minimum wage increases wouldn't either. If anything, it would harm small businesses and middle class America. Large corporations are the ones who can afford it. Small businesses have a harder time.

I love inventing numbers too! Why not 99.99%??? Surely it would make your failure seem less failure? Placebos need not be inert, especially when special circumstances call for active placebos. Like trials of medications that have noticeable effects, or, you know, vaccines that prevent against deadly illness.
