Across the UT System, researchers — both professors and students — are turning ideas into impact. At @UTArlington undergrads are taking on one of AI’s biggest challenges: the soaring energy and water demands of data centers. As part of the @ENERGY’s ARPA‑E COOLERCHIPS project, they helped design a more affordable, high‑performance method to cool data centers. Working with professors and federal officials gave the students a, "front-row seat to all this development that was happening in real time,” says UTA senior Jachin Ramirez, pictured. “It honestly feels like a sort of industrial revolution, a once-in-a-generation kind of event.” uta.edu/news/news-rele…
