The threat of dangerous flooding continues through Thursday. The highest risk area includes the western Hill Country, southern Edwards Plateau, and US-90 corridor west of San Antonio. Floods can impact areas beyond the heaviest rains. Have multiple ways of getting alerts! #txwx

Showers and thunderstorms are likely at times Monday through Thursday. Widespread totals of 2-6" are possible. Isolated totals up to 8" are possible mainly over the Rio Grande Plains and southern Edwards Plateau. Turn Around, Don't Drown. #txwx

Hot, breezy, and hazy today! ☀️💨 Morning clouds will clear quickly as haze rolls in from the Gulf this afternoon. Expect highs up to 102°F and heat index values climbing as high as 105°F across South Central Texas. Stay hydrated and practice heat safety!

💡 DID YOU KNOW? 🚗 The temperature inside a parked car can rise by 20°F in just 10 minutes, even with the windows cracked. Never leave children, pets, or vulnerable adults in a parked vehicle—not even for a minute. Stay safe this summer!

Look for morning clouds clear by midday, leading to an entirely dry, hot week. Daily highs range from the 90s to low 100s, driving dangerous maximum heat index values up to 107°F or 108°F.

A Heat Advisory is in effect Today from NOON to 8 PM. Peak heat indices between 102°F and 112°F are expected. Please stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities, and check on vulnerable neighbors. Stay safe. #txwx
