Students have been touring the @sheffhallamuni animation and video department. Earlier this month Year 13 CDM students visited the City Campus to tour the department and event attempted to use the universities scanning technology to create 3D models. Thanks for having us!

Photos from our recent cinema clubs! 🎞️📽️ Students have been watching The Lego Batman Movie and Super Mario Brothers and becoming film critics in order to create a new display for the CDM department in UTC. Plenty of popcorn consumed during the screenings! 🍿

Sixth form CDM students have been busy volunteering with #MissionChristmas!🎄🎅 Student volunteers visited @hallamfm Mission Christmas donation centre to help pack gifts for disadvantaged children across the region.🎁 A really worth cause we’re so proud supporting!

Massive Congratulations to Jack, Bailey and Ben on their success at the WorldSkills National Finals last week! Jack secured a Silver medal in Industry 4.0 🥈 And Bailey and Ben were highly commended for their efforts in automation. A fantastic effort by all our competitors! 👏

Congratulations to Lucas on a Gold at @worldskillsuk UK in Additive Manufacturing!🥳 He finished his studies at UTC this summer but continues to compete as part of the UTC team. A special mention to current student Henry who got a special commendation for his efforts.👏

This week we have two teams off to the @worldskillsuk competition! The two teams will be in Manchester this week, where one will be competing in #Automation and the other in Additive #Manufacturing. 🤖🧑‍💻 Here they all are on their way. 🚉 Good luck to them all! 🤞
