INEOS and Nice wanted to appoint Potter as manager before they appointed Farioli. For me, Potter to United has been written ever since SJR was linked with purchasing United. Usually a new ownership Regime comes with a new manager who fits their ideology, so unless Erik turns it around I see this inevitable. Lots of rumours recently of Ashworth from Newcastle, with links to Brailsford and Potter, the club perhaps think that trio could be something to build on. Let’s see how this develops.

It’s a shame that it is more than likely all agent talk, because he’s got generational potential. Having his skill set at 18, whilst only playing limited minutes is special. Bayern would be stupid to let him go, but if they do I hope we’re all over it. Unreal comp @TylahTalkz
