Some of our Police, Dispatch and Security attending CPR/First Aid training this morning on campus. Did you know that CPR can double or even triple a person's chances of surviving cardiac arrest?

Yesterday, the UT Health Sciences Police had the pleasure of hosting the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Summer Intern program youth and staff for a day of learning, engagement, and fun.

To help keep our campus community and surrounding roadways safe, UTHSC Police will be conducting increased patrols throughout the holiday period. Officers will remain vigilant for impaired, reckless, and distracted drivers as part of the statewide "Booze It & Lose It" initiatives

Yesterday, the students, faculty, and staff across UTHSC campus, as well as the citizens of the community had a chance to enjoy our "Hydrate and Say Hi" hydration stations where officers handed out cold bottles of water to combat these high temperatures.

UTHSC Police Safety Tip Tuesday! Don't hesitate, Activate! Know where the nearest Emergency Blue Light phone is located. UTHSC has 14 Blue Light phones across campus that connect you directly to a police dispatcher who can immediately send help.

UTHSC Police Safety Tip Tuesday! Heads Up, Phones Down! Whether you're walking, driving or riding a bike, taking your eyes off of your surroundings for a few seconds to look at your phone is all it takes for accidents to happen. The phones can wait; your safety cannot.
