We don't need a Wealth Tax, we need a 100% tax on all wealth above a certain amount. Lets say $100m, that's more than enough. We need to outlaw outrageous wealth, not just try reduce it a bit. Billionaires are a danger to everything and everyone. As you can clearly see.

AI model whatever !! A ChatBot is a trick, it's not an AI model !?? AI model will do as follow: 1) Replace white collars by AI agent 2) Ship breakthrough innovations in all industries 3) Replace blue collars by embedding it in humanoids. AI is agents, ChatBots are for kids. Apple is out of this game.

lmfao fucking genius move by Apple. Siri now becomes the #1 AI model without ever running its own model or spending a dollar on training 😂 let me explain: - Claude, chatgpt, gemini can now plug into Siri’s 2.5 billion users - so Siri becomes the default interface for AI chatbots = gets ALL the credit - Apple will likely tax 30% of all chatgpt, claude subs via appstore = more $$$$$ - Apple becomes the distribution layer for everyone else’s AI. taxes the app layer - oh and apple STILL HAS ACCESS to gemini’s model weights to build their own fucking foundation model 😂 silver lining for anthropic: they’ve been behind in consumer users - now apple gives them access to 2.5B of them 👍🏽👍🏽 the AI economy will run on ios and apple and they barely lifted a finger to do it genius

Apple’s AI plan is way DARKER and SMARTER than you think. And @GavinSBaker explained why. He says the real bear case for this AI boom isn’t a bubble or a recession, it’s your iPhone. Baker says in 3 years, a bulked up iPhone will be able to run a pruned version of a frontier model. Think future Gemini, Grok, ChatGPT at 30–60 tokens per second, on device, no cloud is needed and it’s free. That’s exactly Apple’s strategy, don’t win the model war, become the distributor of AI. Make it private, local and safe and if that happens, most everyday AI use rewriting, summarizing, basic reasoning never touches a data center. The AI capex boom gets cut off at the source and model builders become interchangeable and apple owns the gateway. That’s the bear case Gavin is warning about. The real threat to the AI boom isn’t that the models fail, it’s that Apple makes them run on your phone and keeps all the power for itself.
Milk Road AI@MilkRoadAI

Apple just declared war on every AI company and handed them all the keys to the iPhone. For years, Apple kept Siri locked down like a fortress, one partner, one deal, and everyone else left outside the gates but that exclusivity just died. But first, understand why Apple had to do this. While Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta have been spending tens of billions every quarter building AI infrastructure, Apple has been spending almost nothing. Amazon's capex is up 42% year over year, Microsoft is up 89%, Alphabet up 95% and Meta up 48%. Meanwhile, Apple? Down 19%. Apple is not in the AI infrastructure arms race and it refuses to be and that gap in spending is now showing up as a gap in capability. So Apple chose a different move entirely. It is building something called extensions inside iOS 27. A new system that lets any AI chatbot, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Copilot plug directly into Siri. Users open their Settings, see a menu of every AI service they have installed, toggle them on, and suddenly Siri becomes a front door to every major AI in the world. Apple isn’t choosing a winner, it’s turning Siri into the marketplace where everyone competes. Here’s the genius part, Apple can’t outspend Amazon on data centers or Microsoft on model training so it’s not even trying. But Instead, it is letting those companies spend the billions and then charging them rent to reach iPhone users. Think about what this means financially, Apple already takes a cut of ChatGPT subscriptions when users sign up through the App Store. Now multiply that by every AI company on the planet competing for iPhone users. Apple loses nothing while it collects from everyone. Apple is also separately building a new version of Siri powered by Google Gemini's underlying models, a deeper technical arrangement. The Extensions system does not replace that deal but rather lives alongside it. So Apple's full strategy looks like this, build its own AI. Power Siri with Google's models behind the scenes. Let every other AI compete in an open marketplace it controls and take a cut of every subscription. What a Genius move.

In less than a year you will ask an AI to do all accounting operations. Final report will include all the assumptions and decisions that were taken in the interest of the company and why. To give you an example. Prepare your long holidays ... But where you are right, is when he says you should specialize in AI. AI does not need any human to work anymore. He knows it but he still wants to delay anti-AI riots. Prepare for chaos.

Eric Schmidt says the 10x advantage is no longer execution. It is defining what counts as success. A programmer writes a spec and an evaluation function, runs it at 7pm, and wakes up to what was invented overnight. The advantage now belongs to whoever can specify the problem precisely. The rest will be automated.

ChatBots are just here for the fun, and for people to get used to it. The (true) AI business model: 1) Breakthrough innovations in all industries (health, energy, space, ...) 2) White collar workforce replacement 3) Robot embedding, for blue collar workforce replacement Workforce replacement is starting right now as you can ask high level tasks to a group of agents such as: - Give me the detailed plan of a new retail store opening. And you'll get everything from the design, to the marketing operations going through each detail of the opening ceremony. The work of 20 persons done in 24h. - Or all the marketing and legal documents and operations for an IPO - Or issue a clone of any software There is no hype. It's seriously under hyped !

I must say I am increasingly suspicious about the comments from the AI bosses - why do they need to make these completely over the top and so obviously unfounded predictions about how AI (or rather LLM) will impact economic development? To me it is an indication of something not being quite right in their own business models - they will need to attract more and more investors as they are likely going to face a funding squeeze sooner rather than later. And again let me stress - LLMs are great and can surely increase productivity, but presently AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are making heavy losses. This means sooner or later LLM prices need to go up, and potentially a lot. And what happens then with the case for LLMs? Might it be that the entry-level lawyer might be both a lot better AND cheaper than an AI "agent" that is priced at what is needed to make Anthropic or OpenAI profitable?
