Congratulations to UVA ILP Lab member @hanjie_chen for receiving the UVA Department of Computer Science Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award! During the Spring 2022 Semester, Hanjie co-designed and taught a course on Interpretable Machine Learning with @yangfeng_ji.

Our paper “Adversarial Training for Improving Model Robustness? Look at Both Prediction and Interpretation” was accepted at #AAAI2022. Many thanks to my advisor @yangfeng_ji ❤️ More details are coming soon!

Today was the first in-person ILP lab meeting in 18 months! We welcomed several master's and undergraduate students to the group and discussed research presented at INLG . Looking forward to weekly discussions as some exciting current research projects take shape!

We’re currently reading Chapter 5, with a particular focus on 5.1, 5.2, and 5.4; discussion points to be posted later this week!
