Today is #NationalHealthAndFitnessDay!
Did you know that each day, Canadian adults spend almost 10 hours of their waking time being sedentary? Even if you exercise 30 minutes or more every day, if you’re sedentary for most of your days, you are still at an increased risk for cancer.
Here are some easy tips you can use to help you sit less:
🤳 Walk around while you’re talking on the phone.
🚶♀️ Take standing and stretching breaks during meetings.
👋 Replace screen time with social time.
