I feel really bad about the way I ended stream today, but suffice it to say, a simple message triggered me and people jumped in on teasing me, finding it relatively innocent. Nobody could've known that I was really sensitive about that kind of thing, but I have really longstanding body issues stemming from a toxic relationship with my father, people throughout my life, and my physical appearance. Even if you meant it in the context of my character, I'd appreciate it if we could all refrain from referring to myself or my VTuber in ways like "fatass" or anything like that. I've struggled with body issues my entire life and I've been working really hard in the last few years to feel better about myself. But it's really easy to be triggered when a lot of your trauma surrounds physical and verbal abuse over the way you look. I'm usually really good about being able to give and receive teasing messages from my Chat. I apologize I wasn't able to take that joke with my usual funny nature. I got triggered and I'm trying really hard not to spiral out from there. Please do be mindful about the things you say to anyone. I've taken a really good effort to be a very open and fun streamer than can give as much as she takes, but I do hope to be spoken to with a bit more kindness in the future. You never know what kind of thing sets someone's progress back. You never know what kind of thing can actually be deeply hurtful to the person you spend many hours a week with behind the screen. Something said in light jest can actually be something that someone has been struggling with for many years. Ghosts can haunt you for a lot longer than you expect, even when the house they haunted has not been a house you've lived in for a long time. I love you all very very much, and I still believe I have the best Church in the world, and I'll still go through with the giveaway tomorrow. I'll see you again on stream on Tuesday too. I just need a minute to recenter.
