Thanks to Dr. Papanikolopoulos from the University of Minnesota for a fascinating seminar on view planning for 3D reconstruction of plants! His presentation closed out the U of A COE Working Group to Advance Smart AG Seminar Series, which showcased experts in smart ag systems.

Dongyi Wang,an asst. prof. and engineer with @AginArk, provided updates on research using robotics to detect foreign objects and pathogens in poultry processing facilitiesas part of the Center for Scalable and Intelligent Automation in Poultry Processing field day in Fayetteville. Robotics engineers with @AginArk have developed ChicGrasp, an autonomous robotic arm that can pick up and hang a chicken carcass on a shackle conveyor for further processing.
