Spending the day rewriting @ubidrop's desktop app from Electron to Jetpack Compose. Electron was a good start, but ended up hitting some walls. Also I have way more experience in Kotlin than Web technologies which makes the change appealing. Will be sharing the updates.

Removed the need to have the Android app open to receive files via @ubidrop This way you do not need to touch your phone to send files to it. ⚠️The feature is experimental. Let me know if you face any issues with it.

I have been using @ubidrop to transfer files from my pixel to my MacBook pro, I love it. No need to have a iPhone anymore to send files between my phone and computer

Shipped! 🚀 Now @ubidrop can send/receive bigger 🐘 files (like 1Gb+) without an issue. Macs gets the update instantly. Androids will have to wait until Play Store processes the update.

@alexstyl Sick, it really works 🤯. For most files it work flawlessly, the problem starts when the file I sent is big, i.e 1GB-ish. Somehow it's stuck in this screen after 100%, and I decided to dismissed the pop up after 5mins But great thing takes times🚀
