On @BBCr4today, interviewer cites our finding that no-deal Brexit would cut access to EU science programme by nearly 50%. But Prof Sir Mark Walport does UK science community a disservice by avoiding acknowledgement of the seriousness of the damage & sentiment of the community.

Worrying times for UK participants in COST Actions. They are fantastic research networks and it would be worrying if UK researchers were effectively excluded because of the Brexit shambles.

This - just so it's clear. Also, @COSTprogramme funding in case of a #NoDealBrexit is not covered at all by the UK's #H2020 'guarantee'! If the UK crashes out of the EU on Halloween, UK participants in hundreds+ COST Actions will become ineligible for participation @_ukro @UkCost
