I’m ngl I don’t have any irl friends left except for like… one person. Friendships, especially IRL ones are so incredibly difficult for me because I have never been anyone’s #1. I’ve always been replaceable and an afterthought. There’s been so many times i’ve been bailed on after making plans, so many times i’ve been abandoned and ghosted. It makes me wonder if I’m the problem, maybe I’m doing something wrong. But the problem is, no one calls me out on anything, so I don’t even know if I’m doing anything wrong. At the same time, the one time I did get “called out” on something, it turned into a toxic argument really fast. I was told I was a horrible person and that I needed therapy (which I go to now, yay for self improvement) all because I got heated over a game we were playing, and I called my friend annoying because of it. That is besides the point though. I just wanna be someone else’s #1 for once. My mom always told me that I’m typically the one putting all of the effort into the friendships, and that friendships shouldn’t be this hard. 😵‍💫
