Ukraine 5AM Coalition

"Receiving this award amidst the war is priceless; it means that hope in humanity, unity, and shared values still prevails." 🙏Grateful to the organizers, Schiedam, and the Dutch government for their support!

The ceremony took place in the city of Schiedam in the presence of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. The medal was presented by Mart de Kruif, former commander of the Royal Netherlands Army Valentyna Soloviova from Truth Hounds accepted it on our behalf.

🏅Ukraine 5 AM Coalition received the Geuzen Medal! On March 13, our Coalition was awarded the Geuzenpenning, a Dutch honor given since 1987 to those fighting for democracy and human rights.

•ICC member states – to enforce ICC arrest warrants. •The EU – to strengthen support for Ukraine and increase sanctions against Russia. Peace is only possible through justice!

We call on: •States – not to engage in negotiations without Ukraine. •Human rights and international organizations – to condemn these talks and demand justice.

No justice – no peace! We, representatives of Ukrainian civil society, condemn the US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia about Ukraine without Ukraine. Such negotiations violate international law, state sovereignty, and the right of the Ukrainian people to determine their own future.

(2/2) This collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening mechanisms of justice during martial law. We believe that together we can work more effectively to protect the rights of Ukrainians and promote the development of a lawful state.

Since March 2023, the @Truth Hounds team, which is a participant organization of the Coalition, has documented over 950 cases of Russia striking Ukraine using the guided aerial bombs, killing 250+ and injuring 1,300+
