Last week, we lost one of our own as Steve, the Assistant for the UAE OSC, Sadly passed away.
Patrick, Steve's devoted son, has provided us with some words about a great man & Bluenose!
We remember a devoted husband, father, and lifelong supporter of Birmingham City FC, whose passion for Blues was a constant throughout his life.
A season ticket holder for many years, his love for the club never wavered. Through every high and low, Birmingham City was part of who he was.
A successful businessman based in the Middle East, he carried that passion far beyond Birmingham. He had a natural way of bringing people together, uniting Blues supporters wherever he went and building a sense of belonging far from home.
In the UAE, he became a key figure within the supporters community. Building on what was already there, he helped grow it into something even stronger in recent years. He was proud to help create a home for fans at The Four Provinces by Fibber Magee’s, a place where supporters could come together, remember home, and feel close to the club no matter the distance.
He was more than just a supporter. He was someone who lived and breathed what Birmingham City means: loyalty, passion, and community.
He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and everyone who stood beside him.
