@drcosimacormier Oh, the hype was real lol. The network had commercials that teased the intro of the character on Hercules weeks beforehand. That was when I started watching and I was hooked immediately.

@drcosimacormier When it was in syndication, they’d air the new episode on Saturday (or Sunday) nights and the rerun would air on the next Saturday after the cartoons were over. I waited a week to see the same scenes again because I just had to know 😭 😂

One of the greatest tragedies of my life is being a Xena fan at seven and never owning any toys back when they were produced. Internalized misogyny kept me from entering the “girls toys” aisles so I didn’t know they existed. 😭
