If PWG announced a BOLA is taking place 3 months from now - 75% of the announced talent would be signed up before the show took place.
By the time the shows rolled around the guy booking the tournament wouldn't even have control of his own finishes.
Doesn't sound too appealing.

I had the privilege of wrestling the last match of my first Japan excursion in Shinjuku Face. The venue feels unlike anything in the USA. I'm sad to see the venue is closing, but I hope Japan pro-wrestling keeps them busy until September.
