Government does not PRODUCE crude Oil, International Oil Companies (IOCs) are responsible for that. Govt cannot just wake up and say divert the crude oil to Dangote Refinery.... There's are contracts already signed for years before Dangote Refinery came up.... A lot to learn, unlearn and relearn about Oil and Gas industry as well as other aspects generally....

This reminds me of my dad in the 80s working with Volkswagen, after MILE 2. He headed the unit responsible for crushing dented cars, Santana, Beetle, cars that couldn’t be sold as new. One day, his assistant suggested they could secretly move the dented cars through the back gate and sell them, instead of crushing them. My dad refused. My dad went on leave, When he returned, things had changed. His assistant had taken over his position, and somehow, my dad just lost interest in the job, and resigned. Months later, that same assistant had became very wealthy. Today, the man is late but his family is still very very rich. That was the beginning of that family’s generational wealth.

I picked this lady from grammar school area in ikorodu, her destination was shogunle Oshodi . It was her bf that booked the ride and told me to pick her up at a petrol station. I picked her up, we exchanged pleasantries and took off . It was Tuesday morning and there was traffic. Amidst the traffic, she was gisiting her friends how she read another lady’s chat on her bf’s phone . She said “ on Sunday that he was claiming busy for me , he was writing epistle for the other lady .” She added “ he wasn’t aware I snooped on his phone . I won’t do anything for now , I will just be billing him. It’s bcos I have been forming good girl for him” Right there , I was already thinking how I will inform her bf after the trip . Make he no loose guard . I don’t knw if she read my mind , she started buying things for me in traffic . Starting with viju chocolate , gala and sorts . If I’m not exaggerating she spent about 5k on what she bought in traffic . I was wondering why she was doing that because I didn’t even ask for those things. She started telling me how her bf thinks she’s stupid. Saying she always feel she’s his main gf , whereas she’s just one of his side chicks . I was just nodding my head and kept saying hmmm. Less I forget , her destination was an hotel . When we got to her destination, initially her fare was 13,500. She sent me 20k , said I should keep the rest for myself . I thanked her so much and even pray for her. Lastly , she asked if I was going to take some drinks at the hotel bar . Who am I to disagree ? 😭😂. I locked my car and followed her . She ordered pepper soup for both of us and drinks . Ngl I asked if she wants to sleep with me or she wants to kidnap me because the kind gesture was too much . She just laughed and didn’t say anything. When I was leaving she gave me 3k cash (200 naira mint) . Saying I might need the cash while driving . Later in the day when I checked my app, I figured she dropped a review and comment “ saying something like she almost toast me .” I no even tell her bf anything again. She has given me more than bribe 🌚😭😂

This is my childhood friend, Pastor Segun, though a graduate, he “volunteered to be poor” as a Missionary so the villagers can hear the saving gospel.
