As someone who owns Fire Red (with the equipment to to rip my ROMs)
What is my incentive to spend $20 on this version of the game rather than play my game on any device I choose with added features?

This argument doesn’t come from ANY of the places that are legitimate cases/arguments for the use of emulation.

There's a big point people miss when it comes to emulation. That being why shouldn't I just emulate it?
What am I getting out of paying $20 for it than emulating it that isn't just "playing it on official hardware"
What would I get that emulation can't give me?

This is literally all you are getting with Pokémon Fire Red and Pokémon Leaf Green. No changes, no online support. This is easily emulated on extremely low powered machines. $20 for a 20 year old Rom and Emulator is a wild price, buy what you want but don't defend it please.

The truth: we need migration.

@upgamer_Nicki @jananoly and I went in March and were really taken by Miyajima, it's a little island off Hiroshima accessible by ferry - everywhere you go there's beautiful shrines and deer just vibing, highly recommend!

Checked the cost of changing carpet, underlay, primer for the wood & someone to fit the carpet because yes, it’s still gross £2k for 2 rooms Which would have been fine if we didn’t have a water leak, gas leak, flea infestation, have to hire a van to take the rubbish 💀

Hard not to comment on the situation as I'm sure everyone has had this in their minds recently.
Any decent person should be outraged that someone would be willing to take their own life from feeling so hopeless, that they aren't getting the support they needed

@jennyprenzlberg I'm not sure this can happen... The issue here is so much bigger then Melee and so intertwined with politics. Hax has undeniably been failed by the system and it may have cost him his life. The question is if you think that system is Melee or US healthcare
