gonna take a day or two away from twitter, possibly longer but knowing my need to be chronically online, probably not. im still moving into my new place (it is going to take a week or two to fully move with a ruptured disc) and if you are in my discord or if you’ve been around me for more than 3 seconds lately, it will come as no shock that i have been struggling a lot mentally with my upcoming life changes, especially post-accident. im mourning my old life, im stressed about my financial situation, im frustrated with my injury, im feeling a lot of really big emotions and im deep in a pmdd shame spiral. ive been using twitter as a heavy distraction these past few months and while i have small bursts of optimism about my future, overall im just scared and feeling more alone than ever before. the overwhelming sadness i have felt has been awful, and im feeling like im just sucking the soul from any space im in with my gloomy, eeyore attitude. realistically i wish i could take more time away from the internet to process things and deal with my sadness, but i will have to get back to streaming in the next couple of days, so i assure you my break will be short lived. y’all have been so great and wonderful so this isn’t a reflection on anybody online - without you all, idk if i would have made it through the last few months. i just want to limit the spaces im in so i can limit my own negativity. this probably also didn’t need a post, idk if anyone would have noticed a small absence but im the queen of over sharing and transparency so here we are. anyway. be kind to yourself, and to others. see you in a couple of days. ❤️
