Hello wonderful people. Where have I been? Simply put, my Dad passed away a couple days ago. Going to take a little time to grieve, process and plan all the stuff with my family. I'll be back next week and looking forward to getting back in the groove. :) Call your parents.

It is with a tremendously heavy heart that I announce that @SalsaDoom76 passed away on December 8, 2024. He was more than a community member, he was my friend, and a friend to so many in the Minecraft Community. I will always keep a block off center, just for you, Dennie.

There is a bug where resin clump in some cases does not drop as an item, if the block with the resin clump on it is destroyed or moved with a piston. bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-2780…

By the way... you could farm about 8 times as much resin if you surround yourself with these "towers" and drop TNT in the middle every 5 seconds. Well, if the PC or server can handle it, the hardware is the limit here.

If anyone from Mojang is reading this, I guess you can blame me now for the potential "nerf", I don't mind. Make a splash text out of it ;-) 💚

This is a 1.2 million/h resin farm. Way too OP. The farm is so compact because resin can be broken with water. To nerf it a bit and to have a decorative block for underwater, the resin clump block should be waterloggable. Piston based resin farms are still OP enough.

@mister_quasi I don't have anything against OP farms either, but in this case we would miss a decorative underwater block and we would still have piston based OP resin farms.

@mister_quasi Yeah I remember it very well 🙂 But I think Mojang changes things due to bug fixes, code improvements, more intuitive gameplay and so on, rather than nerfing things. If they wanted to nerf things they could and would. But they don't.

One of my favorite old Minecraft creations I’ve seen on YouTube was @Unarybit piston worm ice farm. I deleted the world years ago and when I went to redownload it unfortunately the link was broken, so it appears to be lost media now.
