Kamala Harris: Taxpayer Sex Changes for Illegal Aliens?! 🤦♀️ JD seems to be the most normal down to earth politician I've ever seen, right? It is SCARY to me that anyone voted for her. Truly. #jre #joerogan #podcast #jdvance

Alternative headline: 5⭐️ Monshun Sales says he’s going to Indiana. I say that I’m having chicken for dinner. We’ll let see if either of these change between now and when our decision becomes final. Congrats for Indiana, but even if Texas was getting the kid or LSU or whatever I would still be staying the same thing, you have to hold onto them. I care less about what team is getting a player out of high school, I care about what team that player is starting on by the time he’s an elite college player. Because of this, I put a lot more value in the portal nowadays.

Part of me wishes Texas was seen the way A&M is seen. There’s far less pressure when there consistently isn’t a poll-maker under the sun that thinks you’re a top 3 or top 5 team. Instead you’re frequently placed just outside the top 10 so finishing the year within the top 10 is considered a success. Not a complete success, but just enough to allow the staff to keep their jobs because the fans are boasting online & hopeful throughout the offseason, instead of feeling like the program underperformed.

Before this last draft, Texas had put the most players in the NFL over the last 2 drafts. After this last draft, they’ve put the 3rd most. The reason they fell a little after this most recent draft was because last year’s team consisted of a young group of starters relative to other years. The average age of a starter on offense was roughly 19.8 years old, defense was a bit older at 20.6, but that’s still lower than average. Players must be 3 years removed from high school to be eligible for the NFL draft so most starters weren’t even eligible to be drafted. Note: the 1st picture below provides a list of the 5 schools with the most players drafted over 3 years. The 2nd picture provides the average age over the last 5 years of starters for the teams in the national championship/in the CFP hunt, as well as the average age of the starters on below average teams.
