@GFLLAMA That would mean her backup is from right before the mission at the latest, but could be even older (given that Lentine wasn't supposed to have it at all, I doubt she had a complete version history of every latest backup).

@GFLLAMA Given that she was immediately taken into custody after that mission with the intention of wiping her, there would have been no reason to even create a backup of her neural cloud at that point, nor did Lentine have access to her to do it herself.

@TheGhostOfHope I think they did this in the Cold War beta and it was so hard to tell enemies and teammates apart that they changed it before launch.

@InfinityWard I would love to see crazy collabs, but limited to gun skins, instead of having wacky operators. Personally, I prefer tamer blueprints where it would be artwork on the gun as opposed to an entirely different appearance, but I think there is plenty of room for both.

@AtsusABITCH I think the camos should be battle damaged by default, but if you prestige the weapon you can get factory-new full coverage of the camo. Provides an incentive to prestige and allows players to use what they prefer.

@MetsGirl333 A few years ago, upon the realization that there were two different types of sliders that move differently after the discovery of something called seam-shifted wake. Sliders now are for the faster one with sharper, more vertical movement. Sweepers are slower and more horizontal.

@Thats_BB_Suzyn My hot take is that Wells isn't even a "huge" problem. A problem, sure, but his main job is to be good defensively and manage the staff. He's largely succeeded at that. I want him to start hitting better, but I would prioritize upgrading the bullpen and SS/3B more than catcher.

“Ben Rice should catch” is a take you will soon be hearing all over Yankees Twitter. Hard pass. Catching is the most physically grueling role in baseball. The chronic fatigue it causes compromises the lower-body. When a hitter’s legs are "dead" from catching, he cannot generate the same force into the ground. This delays hip rotation, slows down the hands, and causes a measurable drop in bat speed as the game and season progress. Ben has unlocked something special. Potentially generational. The Yankees shouldn’t risk throwing that away. Would you let Aaron Judge catch, even if he could? Of course not. Wells is a huge problem, but this ain’t the answer.

@TheGhostOfHope @1ryanf1 Parts wouldn't require a pick 10 point. Attachments are straight bonuses to apply to the gun and would require points to equip (ie optics or foregrips). Some Parts could include integrated Attachments which you get for free and don't require points, but block that attachment slot

@TheGhostOfHope @1ryanf1 I think it could work, and even fit their philosophy of wanting attachments to be positives. In the gunsmith, you have Parts (ie barrel, magazine) that you have to use because the gun needs to have them to work. They have pros and cons and define the build's playstyle.

I really wonder if Carry Forward from BO6 into BO7 is why we didn't get a pick 10 system for BO7. You'd think Treyarch of all studios would be the one to bring it back.

@rationalyankee Honestly, I wouldn't say it's impossible. There's a strong argument that he's the best position player on the market this offseason. If he can put up 3 straight 4+ WAR seasons, I don't think $300M is out of the question.

@cmaguire2008 Not to be that guy, but by definition sub-replacement production would be a negative WAR, which he has never had. In terms of offensive production specifically, he has been consistently below average, but still a little above replacement level.

We’ve yet to see Volpe consistently put together anything close to average play. It’s not “hate” to stop betting on a breakout after 3+ years of sub-replacement production—it’s just being honest about the track record.
