Dear Nigerian Entertainers, Your fans are being murdered by Fulani Muslim Jihadist Terrorists all over Nigeria, yet you are silent. If they murder all Nigerians, who will be left to watch your movies or consume your music? Those of you that live in the diaspora, you can't leave it for Idris Abdul Kareem and @AreaFada1 alone. Speak up now, or forever be remembered for your cowardice, unlike Fela Anikulapo-Kuti of blessed memory, on whose back many of you in the music industry are riding. Please help me tag them. Let their conscience begin to worry them all.

- Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, resigns as to pursue guber ambition in Oyo State - This is someone that can't even manage the ministry of power, threw Nigeria into complete darkness alongside his boss, but somehow, wants to govern a whole state. Anyways, if they explain Nigeria to you and you understand, then its not Nigeria.

The Yoruba approach to religion, culture, and identity is sometimes misunderstood as a lack of conviction. However, it’s actually the opposite. It reflects a deep-rooted philosophical flexibility grounded in strong cultural confidence. Being open to different religions, denominations, and ideologies doesn’t mean the absence of belief. It means there is a foundation strong enough to accommodate differences without fear. In many Yoruba communities, identity is expansive. This is why you can find the same family embracing Islam, Christianity, and traditional beliefs, yet remaining deeply connected by shared values, language, and heritage. This openness also explains the widespread acceptance of intra-tribal marriages across religious lines. The priority is not rigid ideological alignment, but harmony, respect, and continuity of family and culture. The underlying principle is simple: belief systems may differ, but humanity, character, and communal bonds matter more. Contrast this with a lack of ideological conviction, where positions shift without grounding or consistency. The Yoruba worldview is not that. It is flexibility with a foundation; an ability to adapt without losing identity. In a world increasingly polarized by rigid beliefs, there is something powerful in a culture that teaches coexistence without erasure. In the context of politics (this tweet), this Yoruba example shows that openness is not a weakness. It is a quiet strength built on confidence, history, and an understanding that truth and identity are not threatened by diversity. Instead, they're are enriched by it.

I am worried about Oyo State. The Christian candidates are either married to Ibo people or born of Ibo mothers. The Muslim candidates all want Sharia law or are loyal to the caliphate. Why is it that only Yoruba land seems to have elites with divided loyalty

As someone into urban/RE development, I share in this suggestion.

Dear Governor @alexottiofr, I love how you're shaming the dullards and shaking their tables. Please, it's not too late to do an engineering redesign of your highways and drains to include cable trenches sir. Maybe also trenches for water/gas/sewage - or maybe I'm asking too much? Bury your last mile cables. Sheath them in PPR sleeves, and bury them. Higher CAPEX, but much lower maintenance in the long run. Use Armoured for your 33kv, 11kv and 415v, please. And also, please use fully enclosed transformer mini substations, the lockable plastic-coated, rust-proof metal types. Thank me later sir. Warmest Regards, B. O. Gbadamosi

Lol you think this is about being a photographer in aso rock? When I may become the next victim of the insecurity that plagues our country. As a photographer, gears are now 3x the amount they should cost. Fuel is 1500 per liter and this affects how much I spend on transportation on a daily basis. I am one health crisis away from experiencing the rot in our health care. I know how much I pay for light every single day. If you’re exempted from some of the things I have listed, I’m really happy for you.
I am D' Bobajiro@Shawnbarth8

No matter how much you dislike President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and wish you stepped in ASO villa as Peter Obi photographer, brace yourself up for the second term of President Tinubu its looking inevitable. Loading......75%

Ben Murray Bruce onye ntu, what happened to "Buy Nigerian products to save the Naira"?
Ben Murray-Bruce@benmurraybruce

.@elonmusk I bought a Model S the first year you released it in California. I believed in what you were building. I got Starlink a few years ago in Nigeria, it was brilliant. Now? It only works between 11pm and 5am. SIX HOURS out of 24. You’ve clearly oversold capacity and overloaded the network. In England, providers stop selling once infrastructure is maxed out. Why is Nigeria different? Because it’s Africa, the rules don’t apply? People here pay FULL PRICE for a service that works 25% of the time. This isn’t innovation. This is exploitation. You took our money, saturated the network, and left us with a glorified paperweight for 18 hours a day. Fix it or say it out loud: Nigerian customers don’t matter to you.
