@FreakyAsssfrog @UncleSpeed504 @Dexerto I literally explained how we saved money on buying the bottle and bringing it ourselves which was our entire reason for doing this. But this Speed guy is too retarded to be able to comprehend that.

@DerwinLGray UF football was integrated in 1968 with Leonard George and Willie Jackson,Sr. You attended BYU, where black enrollment was severely restricted, and wasn't fully integrated until 1978.

I suspect UF DEI policy would change quickly if all the Black football and basketball players transferred to another school. It wasn't until 1958 Black people could even attend the University of Florida & it wasn't until 1970, UF had its 1st black football player.
FLORIDA@UF

.@EDSecMcMahon is correct. DEI is discriminatory by design, antithetical to the purpose of a university, and incompatible with the pursuit of truth. The University of Florida has already acted on that conviction. In December 2025, our Board of Trustees adopted institutional neutrality and embedded an anti-DEI mandate within the presidential contract itself, ensuring that no university funds, public or private, will underwrite DEI at this institution. Dr. Stuart Bell stands with Secretary McMahon, the Board, and the people of Florida on this. He is ready to lead UF forward as a university defined by merit, rigor, and the pursuit of truth.

@blakearcuri I would pay my share of that money if the media were forced to admit their annual stories about EF’s financial impact on the local economy were complete nonsense.

@UncleSpeed504 @PoisonslashX @Dexerto So your point was to call him dumb for bringing wine and then point out how the same place would've charged him 3x more for the bottle he got? This is like saying movie theaters should still charge you for buttering your own popcorn with the shitty fake butter they offer.

Yes, there is a reason to mention it. Since you don’t get it, allow me to explain. You should bring a bottle to a restaurant for sentimental reasons or because it’s special/unavailable/super expensive. Bringing a $19 bottle to a restaurant to save $20-40 makes you look like a dork. Cook a nice meal at home, if that’s out of your comfort zone.

I know it’s ridiculous to hope for, but I sincerely hope Mr. Poison kept his thoughts to himself, but we all know he spent the evening bitching about this to his girlfriend at her birthday celebration. If she were raised right, she politely agreed with him while slowly cringing inside. The problem with youth is that it’s wasted on the young.

@PoisonslashX @Dexerto You brought a $19 bottle of wine to have corked at a restaurant and I’m the retarded one? I sure hope they remembered to let you inspect the cap after opening it.

You brought a $19 retail bottle of wine to a restaurant and your only complaint is the corkage fee? A) Who tf brings a $20 bottle to a restaurant? Slow down there big spender. B) Wtf do you think that bottle sells for in that restaurant? Hint: more than the $49 you just spent. C) Do you know what that liquor license is for? Drink at home if you don’t. D) Restaurants markup shit to pay for rent, salaries, insurance, taxes, materials, etc - that corkage fee helps cover those things.

I recently learned about this from my girlfriend. Apparently it's the same if you bring a bottle of wine to a restaurant. We brought a $19 bottle of wine for her birthday dinner and they charged us $30 just to open the bottle and let us have glasses... I get it's a business but it feels pretty bullshit when you already paid $200 for dinner.

Men who make under $100k a year shouldn't even be thinking about dating. What are you offering a woman? a shared Netflix account and a dinner at Applebee’s? build some wealth first.

@BillWiIdin False. Most men will never earn $100,000 per year. So you are prescribing for them to never date, ever. Most married men w kids do not earn six figures. Your post is targeted at a specific type of man, not all men – and not most men.

The amount of time flight attendants devote to discussing dietary issues with passengers is absolutely astounding. I’d be fired inside a week because I’d lose it and tell people to toughen up. All these people would have died scratching out their living on the 19th c. prairie.
