Where you miss the plot is in a sane functioning environment, no one should be “securing” job for anyone. That is not a measure of progressive impact in society. It further erodes public trust in the system and widens the equity gap. It also gives undue leverage to those with access to the “secured” jobs. You should first ask yourself, why does he have access to federal jobs when he is not even a federal employee? Shouldn’t be federal jobs publicly advertised and transparently processed? We will never make progress as a society unless a son of nobody must be able to become somebody without knowing anybody!
Dr Mustee Gwandu.@Iam_Musteey

Not speaking politically, Abdulrahman Leme securing jobs for people is something worth commending. One of the greatest forms of help one can offer is securing long-term employment for others, especially in Nigeria, where the unemployment rate is very high

Bello El Rufa’i has no mate when it comes to politicians his age, we watched how he campaigned and visited every corner of his constituency. We also watched his initiatives and how accessible he made himself to his constituents—credit must be give when due.

"Every government in Nigeria comes with the good intentions to make a country better except this Tinubu's government. This is the only govt that came from day one only to make money for itself. They didn't have even a pretence of good intentions" —Malam Nasir Elrufai

EL-RUFAI, TINUBU & THE BETRAYAL GAME: NIGERIA WAS SOLD A SCRIPT By Boniface Uzoma Chilaka At Chatham House, Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t answer a critical question on insecurity. He passed it to Nasir El-Rufai! That moment was not accidental. It was a signal. A signal that this man has the answers. A signal that this is the team that will fix Nigeria. Nigerians believed it! But that belief collapsed! El-Rufai is nowhere in government! Not in the Federal Ministry of Defence. Not in the Federal Ministry of Power. Nowhere...! Yet insecurity has exploded. And the power sector? On the brink. So what exactly happened? Before the election, in Kaduna, Tinubu had publicly urged El-Rufai to stay and serve. It sounded like trust. It looked like a plan. But it was a lie! Because while competence was pushed aside, loyalty took center stage. Today, Nigeria has ministers who admit problems are “beyond” them— and still remain in office. Read that again! Meanwhile, inside Aso Rock, the government quietly escapes the consequences—leaning on solar while millions of Nigerians are trapped in darkness. That contrast tells you everything. This is not governance. This is insulation. Not leadership. But survival. Nigeria was not given a plan. Nigeria was given a performance. A performance where: The capable were showcased Then sidelined And replaced with the loyal “On his mandate we shall stand,” they chant. But a mandate is not a shield. It is a responsibility. And right now, that responsibility has been abandoned! Because when those who can solve problems are excluded, and those who cannot are protected, failure is no longer accidental— It is engineered. So the question Nigerians must now confront is simple: Was Bola Ahmed Tinubu ever building a government… or just assembling loyalty? Because if the man who once “had the answers”—Nasir El-Rufai—was never needed, then maybe the answers were never needed either! Boniface Uzoma Chilaka can be reached via: uzomachilaka463@gmail.com

The hardest past is not building but maintenance, nobody likes maintenance but someone gotta do it. This is where the work is and it never ends.
