@joelvmoran Lmg cause of his turnovers they lost foh 😂 without him shi a blowout
English

@DougKyed So having the ball standing up the maintaing it with contact until he goes to the ground isn’t a catch ? Surviving the ground hasn’t been a rule since 2018 all you fucking idiots saying survive the ground don’t know the fucking rules

English

I understand why Bills fans don't want to understand why it's not a catch. They're emotional and invested. It's natural. They're quite literally coping.
I genuinely don't understand how anyone who is not a Bills fan does not understand that Cooks didn't survive the ground. It does not matter that for a fraction of a second his knee is down, and he was touched. That's not the rule. The moment he hit the ground, he lost control, and the ball wound up in McMillian's arms.
English

@TypicalToox @Sean_Barnard1 @stoolpresidente So the picture I just posted cooks doesn’t have the ball? Are you fucking retarded ?
English

@Uncle_Dave15 @Sean_Barnard1 @stoolpresidente Yes because he had the ball. They are completely different plays
English

@Uncle_Dave15 @getnickwright Thats a still shot. I can freeze the film and screenshot millions of plays and call it a catch. This is 1 frame out of thousands
English

@V2orV1 @getnickwright At what point from first pic to 2nd pic does he ever lose possession?
English

@MarIsMyDaddy @getnickwright He’s got 2 hands on the ball while being down after possessing the catch while being up
English

Was it close? Yes!
Did refs get it wrong? No.
Brandin Cooks DID NOT maintain possession all the way through. Both men had hands on the ball, but Cooks instantly loses grip once he hits the ground. Therefore, it’s a live ball until FULLY possessed or it touches grass.
Dave Portnoy@stoolpresidente
I will watch this till the end of time saying Cooks had total control of the ball when he hit the ground
English

@stoolpresidente Adams’ knee was on the ground after he caught it and Cooks never caught the ball. Very different plays
English

@ShannonSharpe But I thought he had to survive the ground like you said yesterday
English

@Jace71889 @BaldyNFL @Broncos @Island2_1 I would say this is clear possession then he goes down with possession and rolls over with possession

English

@Uncle_Dave15 @BaldyNFL @Broncos @Island2_1 Sometimes the receiver gets the ball rip away from him by the DB which forces an incomplete pass. That happened in the Steelers/Lions game when Williams had ball going down with a knee on the ground but the DB hit his arm and he loss control of the ball incomplete pass.
English

@Jace71889 @BaldyNFL @Broncos @Island2_1 Yeah that was a bang bang play cooks clearly had possession knee hit the ground and he rolled over with both hands still on the ball before it was ripped out
English

@Jace71889 @BaldyNFL @Broncos @Island2_1 Surviving the ground is not a rule anymore it’s been gone since 2018 cooks had possession knee down and continued to have possession as he rolled over before it was ripped out
English

@Uncle_Dave15 @BaldyNFL @Broncos @Island2_1 Knee being down only applies to a runner with the football who is making a move with the ball. Not a receiver who is falling down without a making football ball move. How many time's we see receivers not surviving the ground trying to catch the ball but it comes out.
