Three things can be true.
1) the tourney feels more like the “NCAA Tournament” than “March Madness” w/o mid majors advancing
2) There are CBB issues, (unlimited portal, lack of regulation, selection process), that need fixing
3) You can still have faith in Mid Major Basketball

@Uncle_Fooby Why do public and private play in same playoffs. Grew up in NJ and some conferences have public/private but states are seperate. IN MD where I live now it’s totally seperate (except for scrimmages)

But the PIAA contends the playing field is level! And the non-boundary schools supporters contend their success is derived from working harder and having better coaches. LOL.

Just sayin’. In the past two years, 11 of the 12 boys basketball state champs have been either Catholic, private or charter schools. Only exception Central Dauphin. And it’s 16 of 18 in three years.

No NCAA sanctioned sporting events should start after 9:00 pm local time. The UConn-Furman game having to tip off close to 10:30 pm Eastern is absolutely absurd and not fair to the student-athletes on either team.
