Reporter Marty Cesario (@martycesario) confirmed that Jace Bellah (@jacebellah4) currently leads all of Division I FBS football in interceptions per game. Jace has grabbed 4 INTs in his last 4 games. He is also currently 5th on the team with 29 total tackles. The Colorado State (@CSUFootball) walk-on is the definition of Southside toughness, knowing what it means to remain humble and continue working hard. Delayed but not denied. In what was quite possibly the greatest ending to a football game we have ever seen, we are still living a dream today. After an hour and a half long lightning delay, rain for most of the game and no points scored by us in the first 3 quarters, we scored 22 points in the 4th to secure the 50th Cannon game and Coach Goddard’s (@CoachRGoddard) 100th win. How did we seal the deal? By going for 2. Win or go home without our cannon. Caeden Herrera (@CaedenHerrera) hits Namon Robinson (@namon_robinson) and we watch a 17 year old kid will his way into the end zone. The amount of ways this moment almost wasn’t until it was. We could have given up after every bit of adversity we faced. But last night was one of life’s greatest teachers: just because your successes are delayed, does not mean they are being denied.
