アニメでは描写されていませんが、『響け！ユーフォニアム』の主な舞台は軍事基地と工場、古い国道が隣接している京都郊外の住宅地です。このような近畿地方の下町ではカジュアルなコミュニケーションのきっかけ作りのために飴玉を人に渡すという風習があります。滝先生はそういった土地の高校で教える教師には似つかわしくない不自然な話し方をする（AIでも出力しないような、規範的すぎる日本語を話す）親しみにくい人物として描かれており、久美子に他の先生からもらった飴を渡す場面は「君が思ってるよりも俺は人間的な奴だよ」と言いたいのだろうと解釈できます。あすか先輩の場合は、人とのコミュニケーションに壁を作る近寄りがたい旧家のお嬢様だということを前提にすれば演出の意味が理解できると思います。

@yamanakanobody Look at examples like Steam. Game piracy still exists, especially for games that have a ridiculous amount of monetization. But by and large, if the legal way is easier than illegal, then people will buy it legally. Piracy is a distribution problem.

昨日、外国人とやり取りしていて、個人的にすっごく納得できた、全部つながったと思うことがあって。 恐らく、日本人は「みんながちょっとずつ我慢すれば社会全体としては上手く機能する。だから『何をどれだけ我慢するか』を明確にするために法律やルールは大事だし、そうして社会の調和を守ることが道徳的」だと考えている。 一方、外国人は「そもそも法律はその時々で改正される以上『正しい』という保証がない。だから、法律やルールを破ることと、自分が道徳的存在かどうかは別問題で、道徳を保証するために宗教が必要」と考えている。 これもうどっちが正しいとかじゃなくて、根本から考え方が違うんだな。 ちょっと単純化したけど、そう考えると、ここ最近の宗教談義、海賊版の問題、日本での迷惑外国人の問題も大体は説明がつくと思う。
