Contamination of drinking water with Nitrate by Fonterra and the Dairy industry increases Cancer risk. It's also linked to 100 cases of bowel cancer and 40 deaths every year in NZ It risks blue baby syndrome, birth defects and pre-term birth. Everyone has the right to clean safe drinking water. Nobody should have to wonder whether the water from their tap could be making them and their family sick. Yet for rural people, that is a very real concern — but STILL @FedFarmers and @Fonterra resist any regulation. The Government must act now to protect rural people from increasing nitrate contamination. #TooManyCows #nzpol
yes because this climate summit is not being held in good faith. it is not a real climate summit it’s now just another fossil fuel industry delay tactic taking us deeper into irreversible planetary heating for their short-term profits
