I think he should tell that to Nijisanji’s top male ENs pulling consistent thousands of dedicated viewers every stream with strong personalities, gaming, and lore. The Holostars guys building loyal communities that aren’t just coomer bait. I personally don't believe VTubing isn’t “just hot anime girls for guys.” Vtubers are very hardworking driven entertainment, escapism, comedy, and vibes in the anime sphere. People watch for the streamer behind the avatar for the same reason they watch ugly IRL dudes like Asmongold himself. Fan fantasy works both ways. Female fans exist and get down bad for well designed male characters with good voices and energy. Male fans watch for entertainment, not just thirst. Plenty of successful male VTubers prove the medium isn’t some female only activity. This take really aged like milk the moment it was spoken while in the sun.
