A rarity mechanism will be built in the the application so users will be able to compare how rare their $UCAT is

A user can also mint a Unicat by breeding it with another Unicat of the same generation, putting it on cooldown. The first 100 Unicats swapped through the pool contain unique traits that can't be rerolled, so breeding is the only mechanism by which those traits can be passed on

Unicats are rare by design, they can be obtained by swapping for 1 full $UCAT through the Uniswap V4 hook. Swapping for dust amounts will not mint a $UCAT

You can also list your cat on the breeding market for a stud fee. Whilst on the market, someone can pay to breed with your cat earning you a fee

Pick two cats from the same generation and you can pay ETH breed them to produce another cat. The child inherits the traits slot by slot from each parent, and puts the two cats on cooldown. Whilst on cooldown these cats cannot be traded or bred again.
