@UniformUtopia @KMBmoreX No filing for a new Logo from the Commanders. Change to a logo on a helmet has to be filed and approved with the league. Unless Washington has hidden the filing from the public (which I guess is a possibility) I don’t see a change to a logo on the helmet.
BTW - I LOVE the spear

I once again can’t reiterate enough that ANY change to a helmet, no matter how inconceivable to the casual fan, makes it a “new” helmet in the eyes of the NFL
Even if the changes are small, they’re a big deal for helmet manufacturers, both in-game & for replicas
It takes time to order more of a new paint, apply a new finish, print different-size decals or bumpers, etc.

I truly believe we’re going to do away with the W on the helmet and get the spear. I think the aesthetic they’re leaning into has been obvious for a while.
