The City of Monroe’s boil water notice has been lifted. NCDEQ has cleared all remaining regulated facilities. Union County Environmental Health will contact facilities directly with reopening guidance; they cannot open until contacted.

The City of Monroe has partially lifted its boil water notice; one zone remains under a notice. See the City’s site for map/details: monroenc.org/CivicAlerts.as… Facilities must wait for direct OK from Union County Environmental Health before reopening.

Union County Public Health has temporarily suspended facility operating permits/approvals that receive water from the City of Monroe, as required by law due to the City's boil water notice in effect. This does not impact Union County Water customers. ucgov.info/notice
