More than fair comment. You will know as well as us what small-batch food products sell for. There's a debate about whether these prices are always justified — and it does vary case by case. All I do know is that I don't make the rules in terms of what we pay for these premium products. We will always charge close to the recommended retail price (give or take!).

99% of the wine consumed in England is imported. Yet there are now over 1,000 vineyards producing award-winning wine on home soil, with sales growing year on year. If just 5% of the market shifted to local producers, that's around £750 million a year staying here. Supporting jobs, businesses and investment across the country. That's exactly why we're building MadeInEngland.com. Follow us as we uncover the people, products and businesses that make England special.

Workers spend more of their income than the wealthy. But our nation has been taxing workers *more* and the wealthy less. Wealth as a share of UK GDP has doubled since the Thatcher era. But tax revenue from wealth only rose by 35% over the same period. That's anti-growth.

▶️ Dites STOP : adhesions.rassemblementnational.fr

@icy_idomybest So you want Trump assassinated, the left has gone murderous! No it was Reeves lack of prep, putting inflationary policy's in place. So we cannot withstand the inevitable global shocks. Her borrowing was off the scale! Brown did the same in 2008.

@Unionbuster Maybe you are right, because of Trump’s Iran folly… that’s hardly Starmer’s fault But the figures are inflation is 2.8% And without a psychopathic murderer in the White House it would stay there

The inconvenient truth about Al Gore’s climate alarmism #bbcnews #Foxnews Two decades on, the former US vice-president’s film reminds us that panic is a terrible policy adviser archive.ph/LV4UB over the past century, even as the global population quadrupled, deaths from these climate-related disasters have plummeted. In the 1920s, an average of nearly half a million people died annually from such events. Today, that number is under 10,000 – a decline of over 97 per cent.

@GooalMouth @AaronBastani It was inevitable when we came out of the little ice age in 1850 How do all those other countries manage? It will mean not so many die of cold, all the technical solutions are there, many used for years Its the constant scaremongering that is the problem!

It's the UK weather NOW, it has never been the UK weather of the past. It has never hit 30+ degrees in May, and it has never been 40+ in July. These freak weather events are becoming the norm. Warmer winters also now exist, as do more and more extreme weather events. Get your head out of your bubble. I dont care whether it's natural or man-made, what I care about is that it's constant, year in year out, change and something the UK and Europe continue to struggle with because we are not preparing well enough for these extreme weather changes.

“It’s Summer!” No it’s not. Summer starts on June 21. It’s not the Summer by any measure. “It’s concrete, of course it’s hot!” It’s literally Kew Gardens. Let’s just hope rapid climate change means London gets a Roman climate rather than…the Gulf Stream disappearing.
Met Office@metoffice

Today has been the hottest day in May on record with Kew Gardens provisionally reaching 34.8°C - exceeding the previous highest May temperature in the UK by a full 2 degrees Celsius🌡️ This heat would be exceptional in the UK even in mid summer, let alone in May📈

Dear Climate change deniers . Today UK broke it's May temperature record by 2C. The UK has temperature records going back 350 years and in all that time we have never come close to this May temp. Without climate change this temp in UK would be impossible

On 23 June 2026, Britain will mark ten years since the referendum that changed everything. A decade since 17.4 million people voted Leave on the basis of promises that were, in almost every measurable particular, false. A decade since the country began the long, slow, expensive process of discovering what the sunlit uplands actually looked like. They look like this: the economy is between 6% and 8% smaller than it would have been had we stayed. Business investment has been between 12% and 18% lower than comparable countries. Bloomberg Economics estimates the annual cost to the British economy at between £100 billion and £200 billion. A former chief economist at Goldman Sachs – a Conservative peer and former Treasury minister – described it as “a colossal economic shock” causing more permanent damage than the Iran war energy crisis. And 63% of the British public would vote to rejoin the EU if given the chance today. This is the Brexit balance sheet. And nobody who sold it to us has faced any consequences for it whatsoever.
