Jenny Chapman spent the four and a half years of Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership doing every thing she could to undermine the one man in The Labour Party who symbolised human rights for all - Corbyn himself. She was supposed to be the MP for Darlington but was conducting her own agenda far away at Westminster. She was very much involved in the carefully staged 2016 coup that aimed to remove Corbyn. When that didn’t work, Chapman was very much part of Owen Smith’s failed leadership bid that same year. Chapman then tied her colours to Starmer’s mast and was part of the secretive Arlington Group set up months before the 2019 election with the aim of setting up Starmer’s own leadership bid. Chapman was supposed to be working on behalf of the people of Darlington and doing her best to help Labour get elected in 2017 and 2019. In fact, she was doing the opposite. And here she is today, rewarded for her years of disloyalty, treachery and betrayal with a lucrative, lifetime seat in the House of Lords - like so many of the traitors who, like Chapman, plotted and schemed to destroy Corbyn’s leadership. Here she is, an unelected minister in Starmer’s government travelling the world and spreading the lie that human rights for all is a priority when she and her boss have been complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza and are now helping the United States in its assault on Iran. The contract was awarded to Israel's largest arms firm Elbit Systems and Thales from France. Those companies squeezed the MoD for years, with the drones costing £88,400 per flying hour and executives charging £18,000 a month for hotels. Meanwhile, Elbit and Thales produced an export variant of the same drone and signed a £400 million contract to sell them to Romania. Despite everything, they were assisted by the UK government, which subsidised the production of those drones and promised to support export licenses. Shipping documents expose how dozens of drone components have been sent from Britain to Israel since the contract with Romania was signed - but they haven't been onward exported to Romania. And open-source evidence now strongly suggests Elbit has been testing the drones in the illegally occupied Golan Heights, likely breaching UK export law.
