Today was Rashford's final exam. Big UCL game, Raphinha injured, Lamine feeding him, home crowd behind him. He had everything he needed and he failed. And that's okay. We took a gamble on him and it didn't pay off. The mistake would be taking that same gamble again in the summer

I feel the "winter break" debate coming on again in the Premier League. It’s obviously needed - even with expanded squads, elite players risk fatigue, less training time etc - but too many vested interests preventing it happening.
