Ole said during an interview that he always has a Manchester United clause in his contract— if the club comes knocking, he can go home. I don’t think it’s disrespectful to Ole or Besiktas to say that he has that for a reason. When he came from Molde, United didn’t actually have to pay them anything (we did as a nicety, when he was hired permanently). But, I don’t think there can be a greater sign of respect, from Ole’s end, than the fact that he always sees OT as his home, nor can there be a greater sign of respect— from the club’s end— than acknowledging that’s the case.
