🚨The US Dollar's world relevance is FALLING: The share of USD-denominated assets held by central banks in their foreign exchange reserves fell to 57%, the lowest in 31 YEARS. These assets include US Treasuries, mortgage-backed securities (MBS), agency securities, US corporate bonds, and other. The percentage has been in a downtrend for the entire century, falling 24 pts since 2001. This comes as central banks added only slightly to US Dollar assets, but bought far more in other currencies.
