@Universal_Darts Yeah, I understand… and I don’t begrudge anyone for doing it… I just think 24 months is a bit much. And they haven’t even given the free subscription. I dunno.

I know Scolia have partnered with 99.9% of darts creators on Tik Tok, but is anyone else seeing Scolia so much you’re starting to actively hate the brand? 😂 And no, I’m not bitter. I was offered it too but I said no, because in my opinion they’re not offering enough for the amount of work they expect in return. £568 worth of kit (I think) and NO subscription, in return for 2 posts a month for 2 years. Say a post, on average, takes 2 hours to make, that’s 96 hours of work for £568. That’s a rate of £5.91 per hour. And you also have to take part in marketing campaigns and repost every Scolia major update to the audience you’ve built yourself for 2 years. I dunno. I didn’t feel it was worth it.

@DartsWithMatt I am 50/50 on it I was a creator before I did this for my old youtube channel Attitude Darts and whilst I see what you are saying I was not a full time creator I worked seperately but there was no way I could have put that much money to a Scolia at the time so there's that

Went to a car boot this morning and they had stacks of vintage tungsten darts, so I took the lot 😍 can’t wait to look through

Pricing due to tungsten prices has definitely become a hot topic, I feel like the old £20 tungsten sets are all around £30 ish these days (with some exceptions) Makes you wonder if either Brass or another material will become more popular in the future maybe steel or Nickel-silver? Titanium I suspect is simply to expensive though the characteristics could work if tungsten ever got that out of control on price

Its that time of year for darts launches. Target, Datadart and Caliburn all advertised for 25th, 26th and 30th respectively. Other brands likely to follow. Will be interesting to see where all the darts are priced 🤔
