“Voice Acting” saved my life. I’d been acting in NY for years, doing theatre, guest spots on TV series, and making indie movies. While all of those things filled my soul (when I was lucky enough to do them) it was so unbelievably difficult to just get by and afford groceries. I’ve got extremely lucky and booked a gig, doing the promo spots for Nickelodeon sports, and I was able to finally start paying bills. It didn’t last forever, but that job gave me the confidence to dive knee deep into the world of VO and pursue video games, Anime, and animation. I owe this career everything. And the people along the way who were kind to me, guided me and sent me encouragement to me to follow my dreams.

Happy Birthday to Billy Kametz too. Very honored to share a birthday with him, I'm sure he's having a great life in heaven. Voices one of my favorite antagonists and persona characters ever. Thank you for all the work you've done.

@pancake_crimson Think of it like this . If it’s 1:1 then it’s tracing and if there are some slight alterations in the pose then it’s referencing. Overall it’s clearly referenced , since you do have to know what the design is , but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It Helps get into the flow

I'm struggling to find the line between tracing and referencing, like with my Orange Heart image there are parts that are basically identical to Tsunako's art like the head but then other things like the pose are different, is this an example of tracing or referencing or both
