@MartinSLewis Not as clear cut. RFL needs to be taken into account for lots of reasons. Furlough is alt to redundancy. Rehire is if you have made someone redundant (it's in the guidance) because of c19. Further guidance needs to come from the government first and foremost if this is the case

Some people angry with me for "giving false hope, no employer will do it." That's not correct, we have successes coming in. Yet it is true, that sadly many employers won't do it. However the fact it is confirmed to be legal and it can be done, may help persuade some.

CONFIRMED: If u left a job after 28 Feb, that old employer can rehire you to furlough u. So if needed ask. We knew this worked for those made redundant, but Treasury's just confirmed to us, this is allowed for those who left voluntarily (eg for a new job). Tell those affected
