It’s time to say goodbye
After years of building, learning, and growing together with the Web3 ecosystem, we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down Unmarshal and discontinue the platform.
This was not a choice we came to lightly. Running and scaling a decentralized data network at this level has become financially unsustainable in the current market environment. After exploring every possible path forward, we ultimately reached the conclusion that the responsible thing to do is begin a structured shutdown of operations.
When we started Unmarshal, the goal was simple: make blockchain data accessible, structured, and trustworthy so builders could create better applications.
Over time, that vision became reality.
Unmarshal supported 50+ blockchains, served 5000+ clients, processed 12B+ API calls, worked with thousands of developers, and powered integrations across DeFi, RWA, NFTs, wallets, AI tooling, and infrastructure platforms worldwide. Our data has been used in production systems, analytics dashboards, research work, and mission-critical applications across the ecosystem.
From the early DeFi days to today’s AI-driven future, we’ve watched the industry evolve in ways none of us could have fully imagined. Through bull markets and bear markets, new chains launching, network upgrades, migrations, and rapid industry shifts, Unmarshal remained focused on building real infrastructure, quietly powering products and teams across Web3.
We’re proud of that. And we’re grateful that you trusted us to do it.
In the coming days, we will begin winding down our services in a structured and transparent manner. This includes gradually disabling indexing pipelines, APIs, and associated infrastructure. Timelines and support information will be clearly communicated as we go through this process.
Web3 remains an industry that rewards courage, experimentation, and curiosity. Our mission to make blockchain data more usable and open remains just as important today as it was when we began. We hope others will continue to build tooling, infrastructure, and intelligence layers that move this space forward.
To our community, partners, developers, delegators, investors, and everyone who believed in Unmarshal:
Thank you.
For your trust.
For your feedback.
For your patience.
For building alongside us.
This may be the end of Unmarshal as a platform, but the ideas, relationships, and learnings will live on beyond it.
