My Dad went into ICU today and has been intubated. It’s not looking good. I was going on holiday but I’ve had to move my holiday at a cost but I couldn’t have went knowing this about my Dad. Still having to navigate my mother’s identity being stolen. Just…hell on earth.

@UntamedVamp I mean, I understand where professors are coming from. So many people are now cheating on their assignments.

I ran the opening paragraphs of my best fic through an AI checker, out of curiosity, and it came back 85% AI because I used “ornate and consistent elaborate prose” So, if you write in an elevated literary style, you’re AI? I feel bad for good writers is university right now. 😩

@EveryshadeBlue It really is not at all. I’m seeing people complaining about university professors using it to catch AI and falsely accusing people. That would make me so angry to be accused of cheating when I didn’t. I wanted to see what it would say about my writing and it’s not reliable.
